Here is my situation: I want to make a ressie at OKW, using 16 points. I have 8 BCV points and 8 HH points. Can I somehow combine these 2 points from different contracts into this reservation? If so, how? Thanks for the help. (Assumptions used in fact situation--no problem with booking months, and I don't want to borrow from the next years points)

Yes, it's possible...we've done it! MS will take care of it for you.

I'm not 100% positive, but I think you can do this. Believe MS has to somehow "transfer" the points from one contract to the other, but IIRC, they are pretty good about doing that if both contracts belong to the same person. Of course, as you say, you would have to be within the booking window. Also, I think you can only do this with current year points - can't transferr points that were previously banked or borrowed. But again, I'm really not sure - someone else will probably know for sure (or you'll have to ask MS).

I have multiple contracts and I have done this many times.

As long as these points are in the same use year and they are within the 7 months window, you can combine them to make reservations anyway you want, whether they are transferred, banked, or borrowed points (transferred points are the ones that the system will grab first automatically).

We have 4 contracts (2 different use years) and do combine points from all the contracts to make one reservation, but I thought that each day had to be covered with points from one contract. For example, if one day's stay would total 8 points, all 8 points had to be from the same contract. You couldn't use 3 points from one contract and 5 points from another for that day.
Anyway, MS can help you.

MS can do this but they are reluctant to at times. What they will have to do is transfer the points from one contract to another. For a single owner, they can do this with banked or borrowed points as well. Here's your phrase if needed, "I understand that when dealing with multiple contracts of a single owner that MS has CONSIDERABLY more flexibility with the transfer rules". This issue also comes into play with things like CC, cruise exchanges, II and the like where the points must come from a single contract simply due to the way the computer system is set up.

Help!!

My guide gave me the impression that I could mix points from my two home resorts when booking the Concierge or Disney Collection, as once they became reservation points all things were equal. Now you've got me worried!

Bexx - yes you can do this - mixing points from different contracts to book CC stays. I just did this - from 2 contracts (3 home resorts) for a stay in Boston.
