Okay, I know it is okay to share meals at sit-downs, but we're on the dining plan and are about to hit our 90 days out so I want to start making PS/ADR's. Our only problem is we know we cannot eat all that food and we don't want to waste and we want to eat at like 10 different sit-down places with only 8 credits each. Plus, we're doing HDDR, so we will have less credits as that takes 2/pp.
My plan is to use 2 sit down credits for our family of 4 at most table service/non-buffet places (like 50's PTC, Sci Fi, Concourse, etc.) and pay for our 9 year old out of pocket - she still loves kid's meals. So, what we would do is get 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts for all of us and pay out of pocket for a kid's meal for our 9 year old. That way, the 13 year old, myself and DH will share the 2 meals and all of us will share the appetizer and dessert.
My question is though, has anyone else ever done this? If so, did servers give you a hard time - less tip for them, but more economical for us.
Any advice?
