My daughter broke her arm rollerblading today.

We leave fro USF/IOA in 22 days, so the cast will still be on when she is there.

She has the correct height for everything that she is able to ride. (she is 49 inches). We got a waterproof cast so water isn't an issue.

I'm just dreading a ride op tellilng her she can't ride or whatever. Its not a full arm cast (like bent at an angle), its a lightweight from elbow to hand.

I'd hate to see her miss out

Thanks

She should be able to do all but the Hulk, Dragons, and Doom (due to height, of coruse). She'll just be advised to sit in certain rows/seats of certain rides (ie away from the door at BTTF).

Now, Mummy will not be an issue then? I'm glad to hear. I was just concerned that she wouldn't be allowed to ride due to spinning, flying around, etc...

We will be near her and help her with restraints , but by then (she will be halfway through her treatment then) she should be able to do it herself.

I'm so glad to hear that. I was hoping she wasn't going to get turned away for things to do.

I've never seen anyone turned away for any ride because of a cast. I think you should be fine.

Make sure she's on the inside and holds on to her restraint. That's it. :smooth:

Does your daughter have a cast? If so, bring a Sharpie and have the characters sign it.

Great. What types of restraint is the ride? Is it over the shoulder or a lap restraint? Is it a bar style or inside like Dudley or JPRA?

Thanks!

Yep. We have already told her that. At this rate, it may be filled before we get there though.
She has a tiny arm!

Just look for a cute little brunette girl with a light blue cast in three weeks. If we have any problems, I'll say john jacob jinglehiemershcmidt say it would be fine.
