I have a 2005 Happy Holidays one that my daughter uses to water flowers. Are there always different ones for the parties like MVMCP? That is where I got it. I definately want to get a few more this trip.
I wasn't going to post because I thought my use was obvious -- but actually I hadn't thought to use them for popcorn which i guess is truly the obvious answer....my kids use them at the beach all summer. They're a great size for little ones, and seeing them everyday (we live in a lake community and hit the beach everyday in the summer...) makes me smile.
We've used a few for coins and markers, too...looking forward to getting new ones!
We use them for spare change. We actually cut a hole in the top to easily put change in them and make it feel more like a bank. We also have a few filled with our disney potato head parts.
Okay here's what we use them for......
My kids call them the "potty bucket" - An "all purpose" bucket for the car to tinkle in or throw up in. My little blessings (dd8 & ds5) always seem to need to go potty at the most inopportune times where there's no potty. My DS also has a slight tendency to get car sick really fast, which is no fun to clean out of a car seat. Just hand him the bucket. I have 2. I wash them out w/ dishwashing liguid & bleach wipe them out.
I hope on our next trip in just 6 DAYS I can get a couple to really use as popcorn or something fun!opcorn::
My 2 1/2 yr old loves movies and they are the perfect size for him to snack on while watching them(over & over & over!). Plus, the Disney trip was our first real vacation with him & they are a nice reminder for him when he sees Mickey! I didn't realize how useful they would be though I wish I would have got one at each park on our last trip.
