Just to give you the mindset of these people. One of the people on the board has a picture of "Bath Tub Boy" Olby in her sig. The moment I saw that I knew I needed an acid bath. Gotta go, I just threw up a little in my mouth thinkin' about it.

I have seen several times over there people saying that when they get upset, they just think "President Barack Obama" and everything is ok. That illustrates my point perfectly. I have voted for many presidents, but never was so enamoured with them.

you know alot of people don't like me because I run my mouth or I talk too much, but as I have gotten older I have learned to quit trying to please everyone and just please my self. I can be heartless at times when I really believe in something, and I can also have the wool pulled over my eyes very easily, but if someone ever needed my help I would do my best to help them even at my own expense and I have always been there with bells on. i GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF ALOT, BUT MOST OF THE TIME IT'S BY CHOICE. I'm not stupid but most of the time I know.
It's really bad when you have a good heart and good and bad convictions about certain things. I don't really care if people like me or not, but if they don't, I want to know why. I try to live my life as free as can be I have aquintances but not true friends because I've been screw to many times so I don't let alot of people get to close. Frankly, I don't want to or have time to deal with it. I drink and party and like to have fun, I like to flirt, but most of the time I'm just me. We have money but it hasn't changed who I am and I don't think it ever will, however it is nice to have, but I could if I had to, do without it. I don't think I'm better than anyone else, and I always try to treat people like I want to be treated. I don't get over things easily it takes a long time if ever. Sorry guys I'm in a mood.

Liberals are interesting people. They are quick to judge and label. Despite their claim of being open minded, they refuse to accept other opinions and feel obligated to change opposing views. They tend to have very charismatic leaders and will follow them blindly. Their own thoughts are usually regurgitation of the doctrine of those charismatic leaders. They tend to want to control not only the voices of others but their very thoughts. Virtually every repressive government in history has relied on these powers to gain control of their people, and so far, they have all failed. It comes down to one thing - you cannot control the thoughts of your citizens.

Hold on there, buckaroo! I AM liberal. However, my views are my own (not by brainwashing) and I choose to show those beliefs in my way of life in lieu of beating people over the head with my ideas. I will act in the way I think is best (i.e. recycling, trying not to judge others, buying locally, etc, etc). If you like what I do, follow my example. If you disagree, I'm willing to respect your differences. I want the world to be a safer, cleaner, more respectful and equal place just as much as the next person, but we will not get there by confrontation, only results. I am proud to be the "token liberal" on this board. I appreciate the respect you all have given me and the acceptance despite the bold disagreement. Just know, all liberals don't fit in a box. Some liberals even like camping.

This thread is for anything and everything. Most of us on this board are campers, (some have tents, some have tiny campers, some have popups, some have big rigs) so the camping spirit is woven throughout all of our conversations!!

I hope you do come camp at WDW someday, it's a great place!!

And you all have one very solid thing in common.....honesty!!!! I, like you, was raised in the real south...where women didnt pretend to glow, they sweat, usually from hard, pride building work....the opinions they have are formed from experience, not something they heard someone on tv say was a good way to think.

Dont ever feel like you owe anyone anything other giving them the best of who you are!!!! I love ya lady!!!

Oh yeah...and Ami.......I actually have SOME very liberal views on certain subjects. Im not opposed to early abortion in many situations, I have no problem with gay marriages, and I think marijuana should be legalized. Now, Im not pregnant or gay and dont smoke marijuana(very often).

I am not a fan of the term "liberal" anymore than I am with the way MOST liberals are always whining about the way things are, but only sit back and wait for someone (right now, Obama fits th bill) to come along and "fix everything" instead of actually make some changes on their own.

You may be a liberal.....but ya aint no "bleedin' heart liberal", I never hear ya whinin' bout nuttin....you do tend to change the things around you that you can have some control over.....that just makes you a concerned American. A really CUTE concerned American!
