My phone has a great GPS/Tom Tom App! Oh wait, it fell in the water again. Soooo, I will have to wait to tell you how wonderful it is until I get #3 Droid.

You might want to think about phone insurance. Do they have phone insurance???

Yes, they do. However, I don't think it applies after the second dunking. We will see Monday. This one slid down the boat ramp and into the water. The other one drowned in the rainstorm.

Two things to thing about here, almost all new cell phones now have a little dot under the battery that is water dissolvable, it the phone gets wet, it goes away, and they know that it went swimming, probably included to stop people doing what you are talking about

and 2: If you do accidentally get your phone wet, take the battery off ASAP, and stick it in a bag of dry rice for a day or two before trying to turn it on, that is it's best chance to live..

For the record, Donnie was there when I dropped the phone the second time and he did drop a whole plate of food all over his floor of the Cougar during our trip and Lulu the dog ate it. And I didn't drop the phone the first time. It was in my rain jacket and the rain came flooding in the pocket where the phone was and that is where it met its demise. I just wanted to get all the facts out here Rog....

John, that is how I dried out the first phone with the rice, however, it was of no use...it was a gonner. The second phone lost the little x's on the phone, but not the battery and it still does work, however, it doesn't not communicate with the outside world. It just plays with itself.

Chris is going to throw himself upon the mercy of the verizon guy he cried to the last time and see what happens. (I will keep you posted. It is never dull at my house...)

If you want to know how long that gator is at the Fort, simply measure the distance between the alligator's eyes,the distance apart in inches is also its length in feet.


so remember, when you come back with that trip report and tell'n everyone about the big gator you saw at the lake or canal,,I want a accurate reading on it's size

Don't know all the details yet, but it's an internship at a company similar to the one I work for.

Wasp Spray is more effective than pepper spray. It shoots much further with much more accuracy, and will blind the offender untill he goes to a hospital for treatment!!! This info is very real....please dont try it out on your husbands to see if Im joking around or not!!!!
