Came across this (new?) site this morning, and found it extremely interesting http://sharket.com.
Apparently they've created a database of resale transactions and ranked resorts based on how quickly they sell and how much of their value is retained. It seems to be a relatively unbiased resource for those new to DVC resales or just interested like me. Still trying to figure out what their angle is, but they do not appear to be a resale broker or for-sale-by-owner advertiser, so I'm not sure.
They have Saratoga Springs ranked as the #1 timeshare resort (across all developers) with a "saleability score" of 10. In fact, all of the Disney resorts are scored 6 or above.
