I ask for them ideas they can set up gifts and other stuff for you. Calvin even sent my kids little goodie bags letting them know they were staying at the GF. He has also help with questions and ideas about things to do on the 4th. Also helped with requests for a room. If you need help and have questions ask them, thats what they are there for.
 
I'm not really sure how Disney resorts stay in business except for the fact that they are Prime. No one mans the phone. I'm tempted to stay off site.Please answer the above question on this board so that we all may know the answer.

Hi There -- Not sure of your question:confused3 . Can you be a little more specific as to "How Disney Resorts stay in business, due to what??? - no one mans what phones??? Is this in regard to concierge service?? In my opinion, a little more information would help those who view this post to reply.

I was reponding to a previous statement regarding poor communication at the resorts via telephone and e-mail. Some one said they don't answer the phones or answer e-mails. Sorry.

It's been almost a month since I sent in my introduction email and I have not heard back from BWI. I know it's early, but others have received communication back after sending in introductions so I'm a little annoyed. :confused3
 
I would be sending out another email or forward the original one so they know you sen it a month ago
I am really surprised as the last time I stayed at the BWI concierge I had great service
 
when you book a stay thru the TA you have to include your ressie number with the email
I would send them another one and call and leave a message
 
I would suggest calling the IPO directly. When going through a TA they sometimes get space specifically reserved for TA reservations. This is sometimes referred to as group space or a block. The IPO may have a reservation for that space, but may not know who is occupying the room.

When you call the IPO directly, you can give them all of your contact information and tell them you booked through a TA, what day you are arriving, etc. The phone call should get the ball rolling. Hopefully, the IPO representative will build a profile for you to keep your ADRs and any other itinerary information handy.
 
I booked Contemporary Atrium Club a couple days ago for a stay the first week of January. My ADR window opens up in a month, when should I expect to hear from the IPO office or should I do it myself? Also, how do they usually make contact, through regular mail or e-mail?
 
I booked with a Travel Agent in Feb. for a September trip.

I e-mailed the BWI Conceirge Planning office 2 weeks later. I was contacted by e-mail within 24 hours.

I gave them a time to call me at home to give them my credit card information which they did. I was not comfortable sending it my e-mail or fax.

They kept in touch with me weekly by e-mail until all my ADRs and other planning tours and events were made.

They were great! I have a printed itinerary with all my confirmation numbers in my PassPorter.

We went 2 years ago and the AKL IPO was great too!
 
Tomorrow's my 180 day mark. I'll be waiting to see if IPO is able to get all my ADR''s, especially LeCellier.

For my families upcoming stay on the Atrium Club this August, we were contacted by the Contemporary IPO via e-mail 1 or 2 days before our ADR window opened up in February of this year. I don't know if it was fluke that it happened that way, so all I am saying is how it happened for my family and I.
 
For anyone who let IPO make your ADR's: how long before you heard back
with your confirmations?

Anyone stayed at the Poly Concierge lately?

Hi all..hoping someone can fill me in...I've heard rumor that the Poly concierge no longer takes you back to your room in a golf cart for direct checkin at the Hawaii building. is this true? can anyone add some insight to this?

I would also like to know this because how else are we suppost to check-in at the Hawaii building because a Cast Member has to take us there so we can get inside the building.
