Now we have to figure out where to eat!

We have decided to allow each of our three sons to plan an entire day's activities while at WDW, including meals.

This could be interesting :rolleyes1

Hi. Can the IPO staff get us our tickets to MVMCP when they are available if we provide them with our cc #?

TIA

Yes they can. The Epcot resorts IPO department took care of ours last December.

Yes...I would like to know now that the policy has changed to 180 days...when is the proper time to contact IPO?

I contacted IPO shortly after booking my trip then followed up after any changes I made to my room reservations. Goodness knows our resort choices kept changing and I didn't want my requests to get lost in the shuffle. With so much lead time available, I wouldn't think it would be too over zealous to contact them right after you book.

Soooo... I'm guessing by now they've finished rehabbing the Hawaii Building at the Polynesian?

Has anyone seen the new rooms, etc., yet? And if so, do you have pics? If you're going soon, will you please get pics? We're dying to see them!

Let me tell you that planning a vacation on the sly (without kids knowing what I'm doing) is sooooo much fun! :earsgirl:

Happy Halloween, y'all! :maleficen

I haven't seen the new reg CL rooms, but I know where some pics are of the new suites. They should give you a general idea. First one to the Poly is a rotten egg!!!! :earboy2:

We were in a new room in Hawaii two weeks ago and it was beautiful as is the lounge. Oh, my...it has now almost been three weeks. :sad2:

chamonix posted some pictures from her stay there and Tikiman has some on his site already I believe.

I will be at the Poly in 7 days, and I will try to take lots of pictures of the rooms, the lounge, and the food offerings if I can get near them.LOL It's supposed to be super busy that week and weekend (Nov 8th thru 15th) and I know the Poly is sold out! My sister tried to get a room there and had to settle for the Contemporary!

Does anyone have a link to any of the photos of the new rooms in Hawaii? I saw some on Tikiman's site (not Hawaii) and the comment that they weren;t quite finished off....headboards, lights etc! Do the conceirge rooms have any extras that the standard rooms don't?!

Hi, friends, I'm so excited. I just sent an e-mail to AKL concierge introducing my family and our travel plans for the next 10 months, since we have a 1-night, last minute visit planned with them for 12/2 and then a 9- night anniversary visit planned for 8/25-9/3. Although I probably don't need much assistance with our Dec trip, perhaps a last minute ADR with Bongos and Planet Hollywood, I plan to use their IPO services extensively for our August trip and it will good to meet the staff in Dec.

Thank you for all of your help.

Poly concierge emailed me, but I accidentally deleted it before I could send anything back....what should I do? Will they send another one if they don't hear from me? I already made our Hoop Dee Doo ressie, but we also want to do Ohana.

Cara - you can usually retrieve deleted e-mail for up to 24 hours.

I would just send them another email, asking them to re-send the previous information. I imagine they keep e-mail folders for guests, so that shouldn't be a problem. I would do that rather than wait to hear back from them.

Hi Experts

Can anyone tell me what the hours are for the various food offerings, and what selections are available, in the RPC?

I am trying to figure out ADR's but want to make sure that we are around at various times during the week to enjoy what the GF offers.

TIA!

Garada3:

6:30am-7am ~ coffee
7am-10:30am ~ deluxe continental breakfast including yogurt, cold cereal, oatmeal packets, danish, croissants, bagels, breads
11am-2pm ~ light lunch offering, salad, assorted hummus, chips & salsa, sliced chicken breast
3-4pm ~ afternoon tea, scones, assorted cookies, trifle, brownies
5-7pm ~ evening appetizers, sliced vegetables, cheese & crackers, mini hot dogs, chicken nuggets and a selection of 2 hot items such as spring rolls, mustard chicken skewers, wine and beer
8-10pm ~ dessert tray, cordials

Specific food offerings do vary by day. Oh and if you look over on the GF FAQ thread, Janet2K has links to food service pictures that you might find helpful.

We are planning a return trip for after Thanksgiving next year. Thinking about 10 days total. Which resort would you suggest for the best concierge holiday? Taking in food, decorations, and activities.

I think I need to book now, so I know we have the resort and dates.
