Yes, now I remember. CR still had Krispy Kreme doughnuts in March. I can't eat them, so I didn't think about it. My kids ate them everyday.

OK, I'm close enough to my trip to think about all of the little details...

I believe on these boards I've read that you can tell the CM who will meet you at your car that you are checking into Tower/Atrium club and they will contact someone to come and take you up to the concierge desk for check in.

Is this true?? I noticed that on the back of my reservation it says "Concierge check in at front desk" or something like that. Does anyone have any recent experiences with checking in at CR?

mine wasn't at CR, it was at the WL...and I thought I would check in on the CL. They couldn't reach anyone up there...so I checked in at the front desk...and waited and waited while they tried to find someone on the 7th floor to come down to get me. Finally, the CM at the desk got a key for the elevator and took me up there herself. I ended up getting a room change once I got up there anyways.... ah well...it wasn't a major deal and I did end up getting the view that I had requested, so it worked out ok.

Tell Bell service- there is a a kiosk where the cars pull up to the CR entrance- that you are staying Club level. They have a list of check-ins. They will ring the CL staff that youy are on your way up. Someone from bell services will escort you to the elevators as they need to insert their key card so that you have access to the concierge floors. You check in with the concierge on deck 12 for Atrium Level. I'll be staying Atrium Club for the 3rd time in Oct.- you will have a great time !

Thanks for the info, we're really looking forward to our stay... this is our first time as a family at the CR, and I haven't been there since I was a teen in 1985 (we stayed on the 14th floor back then, too, and it was one of my favorite all time trips).

Thanks! I will let you know! I'm starting to get excited and we got a decent AP rate - $505 including tax! I've been wanting to try atrium Club since it was renovated but just haven't! I was actually trying to book RPC, thought I'd check Atrium Club and unbelievably ,it was available! So, I booked it! We'll only be there for 2 nights for P&PP. We're also doing Universal at HRH. We've been to Portofino but kids really wanted HRH this time!

I would assume that they have them at the Food and Fun as well!

We'll be there next week and last week I received an email from IPO telling us the Check in procedures!
It basically said to tell the valet/bell services that we are Atrium Club guests and then we will be escorted to the 12th floor to check in!

My Dad just checked our AOL e-mail and we finally got a letter from the Polynesian IPO. Since we made our reservation there this past February and they never sent us anything, I thought we would never have heard of them. I remember others saying how they heard from them right away without contacting them, so I thought it's weird that now they finally e-mailed us. Oh well better late, then not e-mailing us at all.

That is so funny - at the GF it's the opposite - no Krispy Kremes in the Concierge lounge but they have them at Gasparillas! Of course they are gone by the crack of dawn!

Well all I can say to that is every WDW Resort is different in the locations they sell specific food items.

All this talk of Krispy Kreme is making me wonder if they are available at the BWI Innkeepers Club??? A few years ago we enjoyed them on the southern college visits. Yummmy!

They are not at the Innkeeper's Club. The pastries all come from the BW Bakery and are oh sooooooo good.
