Used up all those points in just 6 months!

In six months we have managed to use up all of those double developer points, Feb 2007 UY points and all but a few Feb 2008 UY points. About 600 points in 6 months!

So what have we done since we joined AKV for 160 points in August?

1. Quick September 1 night stay GCH view room to see Halloween decorations
2. Treated family for holiday trip to GCH. Three standard rooms at GCH for 2 nights and fourth room for 3 nights.
3. 4 day Wonder cruise Feb 10-14 for DH, DS4, DS2 and me.
4. Two value studios and one two bedroom value at AKV for two nights

Checking what I "would have" had to pay if I paid cash for all these rooms plus cruise, I figure I've gotten over 8k in vacations. I'm going ahead and using high end of prices for rooms to make myself feel better about DVC purchase

And certainly we would not have been able to have vacations with the extended family without our points. It was thanks to DVC that we were able to treat others to accommodations.

I'm not Disneyed out yet, but I must say that I'm looking forward to traveling with just our family of four for a little while. Big groups are fun, but they are too much work!

So now how will we ever do with just 160 points a year?
