Used new code but... Didn't get the rate!

We split reservations for one resort several years ago, also through DU, in order to get better rates. On check in, we told them we had two ressies and they immediately made sure we stayed in the same room. Only thing we had to do was go down the morning that the first reservation ended, and do a very short check in to the "new" room. Definitely worth it for the savings!

Who ever told you that you couldn't make 2 reservations was WRONG!!! You are free to make whatever reservations that you like. They might make you pack up,clear out of room, and check - in all over again but they can't tell you no. It is no different than someone else cheking in on that date.

May I ask who you called to see if you could make 2 ressies? I am assuming it was Disney directly because DU WILL split it for you.
