Use Years and Transferring Points

One more question regarding points. If a member has April 2014 points and I have a March 2014 use year and I have the points transferred to me, can I borrow those points into my March 2014 year and use them in March 2014?

You would be borrowing them and transferred points cannot be borrowed.

Transferred points will retain their original Home Resort and expiration status - so points from an April, 2014 Use Year cannot be used prior to 4/1/14 (unless MS is willing/able to make an exception). Transferred points can be banked but cannot be borrowed.

Was wondering if transferred, and the receiver has the same resort and UY, if the points show up, online, for online booking?

My experience is yes, the transferred points will show up in receiver's account if resort and UY are the same. Otherwise have to call to book.
