Use year ??

Hi, I have 302 points left in my 2012 use year that I need to bank by the end of the month. If I make a reservation for November 2013 using these points and then have to cancel,I have put them in my 2013 use year. Correct?? Thanks, Joan

It sounds as though you have a June Use Year.

In order to make a reservation for dates after May 31, 2013, you will need to bank your June, 2012 points first. If you later need to cancel a reservation made for November, 2013 made using those points, the points will be returned to your 2013 Use Year as banked points.

Thank You! I did not realize I had to bank the points first. We have been DVC members since 1993 and this is the FIRST time I have had points left in a use year. Joan

I would go ahead and call MS ( you can also do all of this online). They will instruct you to bank those points (you have until 1/31/13) and make the November reservations at the same time.
