Yes June! It's my UY, and it's great for exactly the months you're looking for.

I also like the banking in Jan. I know I'm done by the end of the holidays and can bank for the next summer/fall.

June is good. Coming at it from the other direction October could also be an option. Banking deadline is May 31st for an October UY but anything past that would mean you were cancelling less than 30 days out for a June stay so the points would go into holding anyway.

If you'll travel both routinely then June as a single. Depending on the number of points and other factors, owning 2 UY will make sense for a subset in this situation. But if it were mostly Nov/Dec with a rare June, I'd likely go with Oct instead.

Ok...now that I'm actually looking to buy, I'm looking for loaded contract and i have found several at ssr and akv I like but they are December and September use years!

One is for 200 points the other 240 both have 2016 available. Which is awesome.

March/April. If you never need to cancel a trip close the trip it doesn't really matter. If you have a June use year and then need to cancel trip next April, you wouldn't have time to use the points.

It is my opinion that UY is important and for those where it isn't, they are taking an inherent amount of increased risk owning DVC. IMO this is almost always a larger issue than a loaded vs stripped contract which I also feel is important. I'd wait and be patient..

Why April? Is it spring break? Or are you going for Easter? If those could back up into March, I'd recommend a March use year. But if you'd really never travel in March, then an April use year would be best.

I just lost my perfect use year loaded contract! So, can someone help me figure out which use years are the worst to avoid. I need open my options more.

Travel nov dec and summer. Maybe spring break. It's tough call. And we never cancel trips. But never say never I guess.

Is your spring break in March or April? Which months would you travel in "summer?"

My advice is to find the three consecutive months when you would not travel and choose a use year immediately filling that. What did you think your perfect use year was? The months you've listed leave very little option.

I thought June. I know that's not great for spring but is great for summer and nov dec. nothing is perfect.

Summer June or July but we really dislike hot, but with school I feel like will be limited to summer more than we would like to admit Love going around Thanksgiving and I could see is want to go after Christmas Or even before Christmas

Based on that looks like after March. I think I least likely time will be January February and March there is the possibility of March because of spring break but that's probably not the most likely time. So maybe April ?
