Use Year question and when we can book Polynesian...HELP

My DSis UY is Sept.....(mine is Feb)

I just read in the fine print that you can NOT book a Disney Collection hotel (wdw hotels) the last 4 months of your UY...

so that means my Sister can't book May-Sept in the Disney Collection?????

I hope that is wrong because then she can't ever stay in any of the disney collection in the months we usually go

what do you guys think??

I think you can stay May-Sept. You just can't physically call during the last 4 months of your UY and book a trip for that years points.

Meaning you could not call in June of 2008 and book a trip using 2008 points. You could have called in Feb 2008 and booked a trip for July 2008.

The previous poster is correct. You can stay at a WDW resort during the last 4 months of your use year, but you must call and make the reservation before then. Think of it this way, you can not call to book a regular WDW resort on points once your banking window closes.

In essence, there has always been a similar rule, except it was the last 2 months instead of the last 4 months.
