Use the same guide

Our guide is away on her honeymoon and won't be back until the end of Novemeber. We were supposed to have Bruce Douglas as our guide but he was away on vacation when we went to check DVC last July. We are thinking about adding on the 50 pts at VWL offered in the recent letter. The guide we bought from has never called us either to check on us after our purchase, but that's OK. Should we go to our original contact, Bruce, or wait for our other guide. By the was we had Susie Botcher!

We started with one guide and ended up meeting with another guide when we purchased...who then became our assigned guide. When we added on we requested our original guide back, as the guide we bought with had let us down on a number of things right after our purchase (promises were made and not kept). So, I thought we had be reassigned back to our original guide.

Last week I got the letter about VWL add ons (but no member guidebook or pins yet)...and it listed the guide we were unhappy with as the person to contact! I'm a bit disgusted, because if we do end up adding on again we'll have to go through switching again...writing a letter to the supervisor, etc.... Perhaps if we add on again it will have to be a resale (though we were considering OKW, HH or more BWV points anyway....so it's rather a non-issue).

BTW, the guide we first spoke to, and who did our add on, is Celeste Chaffaut. I won't name the other guide as several people here seem to have had good experiences with her...it may have been a one time mistake but it really left a bad impresion on me and my dh.
