Use Simba's club if offsite guest?

We put the kids in Simba's club when we dined at Boma while staying at AKL. I'm pretty sure we could use Simba's club if staying onsite but I'm not sure about offsite. Our next trip we'll be staying offsite but I would still like to visit AKL to eat at Boma and the kids would prefer to be in Simba's club.

A few years ago we spent 10 days offsite and 4 days onsite.While we were offsite, my dd used the kids club at the Beach Club, then while onsite she went to Simbas.

I think that as long as the club isn't fully booked, and its' not one of the most popular clubs like the one at the Poly, then they will let you book while staying offsite - best thing to do is ring up and ask
