Use of SAB during Luna Park Pool closure - UPDATED

Old Key West sandcastle pool slide: Closed January 24 to February 15

BoardWalk Luna Park Pool (entire facility): Closed January 28 to March 1

As I wrote in the other thread on this subject, I will be surprised if guests at BWI/BWV are not allowed to use SAB. In Feb/Mar 2011, when the Luna Park slide was being refurbished, a similar accommodation was made.

Agree. We were there quite a few years ago when this happened and we were allowed to use SAB. I will be very surprised if it isn't an option.

If the Stormalong Bay slide is closed 1/16 to 1/25, it makes sense that the Luna Park closes on 1/28, not 1/2. If they allow YC/BC guest to go to Luna Park to use that slide during the closure like they usually do, the reverse should also happen.

Just got off the phone with MS. YES we WILL be able to use Beach Club SAB for our February trip.

MS said that they just received notification yesterday that this is a definite!!

I check in at BWV on 7 Jan and my letter definitely states that Luna Park Pool will close from 2 January. Is this looking like it's a mistake then?

I just called downstairs to the Front Desk and spoke to Piper who confirmed that the pool will be closed on January 28. Always conflicting information.

I called back and spoke to Danny who called Recreation. The pool will close on January 28 and guest will be able to use Storm Along Bay.

Thanks for the update. I just hope the weather is nice enough to take advantage of SAB. We may stroll over if we have pool weather. Looks like the pool will close during the middle of my stay (Jan. 23-Feb. 2)

I received another letter yesterday telling me that it was a typo and apologized. It say the refurb is indeed Jan. 28 and that we will be able to use SAB and transportation will be available.

We were left a message at our door at VWL that the slide at the Silver Creek Springs pool will be closed starting Jan 7 until sometime until the end of the month. In the mean time WL and VWL guests can use the slide at the Contemporary pool (but not BLT).
