I'm ready to send my taxes via the H&R Block Deluxe software, which offers an additional 10% off in e-gift cards if you choose to receive these in lieu of a portion of your refund. Target e-gift cards are an option. If I get these, I believe I can't get the additional 5% Redcard discount when I use them to buy Disney gift cards. I'm just wondering if its worth the extra 5% discount for the hassle of trying to buy Disney gift cards (both in store and online) with a Target e-gift card? Also, how good is H&R Block at getting the gift card balance to you quickly and correctly (via email I believe)? I still have my entire trip balance to pay for, so I can save a few hundred bucks if this is a minimal hassle. I'm just afraid that if anything goes wrong, I now have the money I was going to use for my trip tied up in H&R Block Bank limbo. The other option is I could just get the refund via direct deposit and buy the Disney gift cards with my Redcard at a 5% savings at the store.
