Ever had an issue with groupon, and did they fix the problem?

We recently purchased a groupon special for a celebration cruise, 2 days on the ship and 2 days in the Bahamas. The cruise line only has us down for their 2 day groupon special which was half the price we paid to groupon and not what we wanted. I emailed groupon, waiting for a response. They have no customer service on weekends available via phone. At this point after all the emails and calling the cruise place and waiting on hold so long, I just want a refund. Ugh.

Just hoping to hear someone else had a groupon error and it was fixed!

I had a Groupon that was way expired, as I couldn't make it in to the store to cash in on it back then. When I spoke to the store, they said they would not honor the Groupon, even for what I had originally paid. They told me to go back to Groupon to deal with it. I emailed Groupon and they wonderfully sent me back a refund to my credit card with no problems. I love Groupon!

That makes me feel better! At this point I just want my money back. After several hours on the phone with the cruise company, they do not seem like a company I would like to patronize. Very disorganized.
