Use Extra Tickets for Extra Fastpass?

Not sure if it's worth the hassle, but would this work?

Our family just bought extra electronic tickets that we will be using in 2018. Can I use these tickets on our trip in April just to make fastpass reservations? The plan would be to assign the tickets to some dummy profiles, make fastpass reservations, go to guest relations and ask for an RFID card to associate with the tickets, and then use them at the attractions we have fastpasses for. We wouldn't use them for park admisssion, just for fastpass. Since they aren't used for park admission, they would still be good for park entry next April, correct?

I'm sure someone will chime in with the exact explanation, but I think if you don't use them at the front gate to get in, they FP+ will not work when you get to the attraction.

Disney changed the terms of service on MDE. Might want to read those before doing this.

And what also is discussed on the FP forum is that using extra tickets for FPs when the guest has no intent to enter the parks by using those extra tickets is a violation of Disney's re-worded Terms of Service.

The TOS now has wording that delineates FP pre-booking in MDE; usage must be with the tickets that are linked in MDE and actually used to enter the park. The TOS wording changed in September and discussion of these extra FPs has not been allowed since that time. Closing the thread.
