Use a new adult hopper for a child

A few years ago I bought a bunch of adult hopper tickets from Undercover Tourist. Now I need child tickets. Can I just assign one of the adult tickets to a child in MDE? The adult tickets were cheaper than the current child tickets.

I know when I took my daughter in August we had two adult tickets. She was 6 at the time and we had no problem. no one ever questioned us or seemed to notice since they were linked to her magic band and her finger print.

I have seen many people on these boards who have children with adult tastes leaning more towards steak and less towards chicken nuggets. These people buy their kids adult tickets in order to qualify them for the adult dining plan.
