USB outlet extender

I know that power strips are a no no, but what about USB extender

Are you referring to the blocks/cubes/tetrahedrons/etc that plug into an outlet with multiple USB ports? It is my understanding based on prior discussion and people's experience that they are fine as long as they don't have a surge protection component.

We use one every cruise. No issues.

So far Disney has not followed Royal Caribbean's lead in banning multiple USB boxes that also have an AC outlet. Multiple USB boxes WITHOUT an ac outlet are not part of that ban.

I will say the Wish had sooooooooo many USB ports, I don't think we even used our USB hub.
