When looking up fares on the USAirways website, do the fares that they quote you include taxes? I just plugged in my info for flights from PHL to MCO in May and got a rate lower than Expedia, Orbitz, and Cheaptickets. I'm thinking that I should book these tickets off the airline website?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Marcy

Yes they include the taxes. Sometimes the airline is the cheapest place for tickets.

We always book our e-tickets directly from the airlines website. I check out Travelocity's,Orbitz, etc first to see the lowest fare. Then I go directly to the Airlines site and book it. I would say 98% of the time the airlines site will be cheaper then the others.::yes::

If you have a Dividend Miles Card (frequent flyer), each person gets 1,000 bonus miles for booking online. I always use it.

It's often bc the carrier does not charge a booking fee, but the on-line travel agents like Expedia, do.
