Why do the airlines even pretend their dividend miles are worth something? It's such a farce. Trying to use miles for next year's abd trip.

Oh, returning from a different city? Can't use miles! You'd be willing to drive back to original destination? Oh, sorry, 10 months out we have very limited availability, so it would take the highest possible amount of miles to do that!

And of course, all of this from some woman in India who can barely be understood and really, really, doesn't care if we're happy or not.

Auugghh! Thanks for letting me vent!

Vent away! As a person who lost her job 4 years ago to those India people, I have a very low tolerance level for them on the phone when I need help. I'm sorry if I offend anyone but I worked for an International company and spoke with people from all over this planet and never had trouble being understood or understanding my customer. We need to unite and let these companies know that we will NOT stand for this kind of customer service(if that's what they want to call it ) Call, e-mail, snail mail, whatever it takes - let them hear your frustration.

Sorry for the rant . US Air FF plan stinks !!

don't you love how they bascially doubled the miles needed for all but the least popular destinations. The did a big announcement of how great this was that now anyone can use their miles anytime - if they are willing to pay premium. Only problem is they took entire months and made them premium. sure there used to be limited flights available, but now there are zero unless you pay premium. it is a total scam.


I have changed my mindset from decide where i want to go and then try to use miles to find out what places my miles will take me and pick where to go. For things i really one to do, i just pay for tickets. I use the miles for extra's. This year we wanted going on the disney cruise so i bought the tickets to florida in November. Then we decide to see where we could to in August. I took the dates we wanted and then just tried all sorts of places until i found one that sounded good. Aruba it is!! I find it less frustrating this way and really the only way i get to use miles anymore.
