I use a ECV to motor around the parks as I have issues with swelling (especially in heat) and walking distances due to arthritis. I can walk and stand for short periods of time. We have EP so won't have to do deal with long ques and we are going mid sept. At other parks like Seaworld and Busch Gardens most rides let us bypass the lines with the exception of a few. At those I parked the ECV with the strollers and stood in line. Is this a possibility and safe option at Universal?

For some of the rides you can switch to the push wc that uo provides for those what still can’t stand or walk to the ride

Some ride lines can not handle the electric chairs (width)
The TM at the line entrance will assist you if you can not walk up to the ride
They will make sure you use one of the wc

Since you have the express pass, your wait will be much shorter than the regular line

Sorry for the confusion. Is it ok to park with the strollers? and is it safe if I take the key with me? Or is there another place I should park the ECV?

I'll be doing the same next week. I have the same concerns, about where to park, etc. But from everything I've heard and read, the answers here are corrects and we'll be fine, GAdreamer!

I am also wondering what happens to my ecv when riding the Hogwarts express?? And if I am alone and have to transfer to standard wheelchair, is the expectation that I need to "wheel" it myself? Thx!

We just got back from a quick trip. My mother rented a ECV from a local company and it was smooth experience in the parks. You have to park it for most queues, but DO take the wheelchair when they offer. Even the express pass queues can be a long walk. We parked it and took the key and never had any issue. For the Hogwarts express, they wheel it right on the very back of the train. The Team Members are pros and know what to do!

We have been using a scooter for about 5 years now with no problems..All rides have a courtesy wheelchair available(thou some rides very limited so may have to wait)...Just go to the main enterance of the ride and ask a TM.

When you ride the Hogwarts Express, your trusty steed rides along with you. You are all loaded in the last car. The ECV rides along with the strollers in a special place in the back. You ride in a cabin as normal. Be aware, though - there are elevators at both stations. Pay attention to the signs and TM instructions. Have a great time

Thank you! We head out in the morning. I think I can handle the que lines since we have express passes but if it gets too much then I can use the wheel chair.
