Ours came today

Holy cow, what does the envelope say? Anything different? I got one today but it was thick, like one of their statements except it said something about a message from the president. I tore it up and threw it away at the PO. We pay online and dh gets annoyed that we still get paper receipts and whatnot and says not to even bring home junk mail (we only get mail thru our PO box). I sure hope I didn't throw away money!!

I got a letter about my $1.97 credit applied to my account--DS got a check. Ex-DH got a check for our "joint" policy (joint until October)--he's the original USAA member.

Glad this thread came up the other day as I probably would have tossed it. We get SO much junk mail from them, and with DH away, I would not have known! It came yesterday and was $115 or so!

We received ours yesterday and it was almost $200.00. My SIL is having a tough year financially and we are going to write her a check for the amount we received. It is so nice to be able to do this.

Whoever ripped up their check should call USAA and I'm sure they will send another.
BTW like someone else said, USAA sends a LOT of junk mail--anyone can just call them and opt out of their "extra mailings." That has cut down on our junk mail a great deal.

We got our check today. $231.54. It comes in an envelope that says in red on the front. DO NOT DISCARD BEFORE OPENING, IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR ACCOUNT.

I learned from the past not to rip up junk mail from USAA....the check looks like junk mail.
