Well, I just got word that usa3000 cancelled our flight departing from Orlando to Chicago December 6. Luckily I was able to book on Southwest (and actually saved $100 for our five one ways). But now I'm a little concerned about them cancelling our flight November 26 (we're flying into Fort Myers, not Orlando). They assured me that there are plenty of people on that flight and that it wouldn't be cancelled, but there were only 9 passengers on our December 6th flight. This is the first time ever I've had a flight cancelled in all the years I've flown, and I doubt if I'll fly with usa3000 again.

I'm sorry to hear that, we are booked with USA3000 out of Phila 11/27 (which I hope won't be a problem, 2nd busiest flying day), but are returning 12/5, which is the one I am concerned about. How did they contact you??

Got a phone call from them today. They apologized and said since they had no other fllight to offer us, we were given the option of letting them find us a flight for another day or a full refund. Needless to say, I chose the refund. You might want to check with customer service re: your return flight. I was told by the agent that they've spent a good deal of their time on the phones today cancellling numerous flights. Another reason why I'm a little concerned about our Nov. flight. Well, I'll worry when and if the time comes.

I got the same phone call last week from USA3000 cancelling our November 12 and November 19 flights from Pittsburgh to MCO and return. I've had these reservations for months, and I was afraid that it would cost me a fortune to rebook, but it only cost $30 more (total) to rebook five tickets on SWA. The woman from USA3000 was very nice, and she even told me that SWA was probably going to be the cheapest, but I would have rather flown on USA3000 than the cattle call of SWA.

Shortly after 9/11, I got word that a Delta flight that I was on was cancelled, but they happily booked me on a flight the day before.

I do appreciate that USA3000 cancelled this flight now as opposed to immediately prior to our vacation. It does give us options to find an alternate flight.

Not to scare you guys, but I wonder with TMA going under today this is a bad sign for charter flights?

They are having a hard time filling the flights with enough people. Their employees have drastically cut hours this month and into next. When they can they are combinding flights with other airports.
