us to uk:poor exchange rate,would you wait?

I am planning a trip to London this spring(or trying to). I am worried about the exchange rate tho. today it is at $1 to .556 pound. I havent followed the exchange lately so I dont know if it varies much. would you hold off traveling until it goes up? thanks

The exchange rate has been in 'our favour' for a couple of years now - this time last year, we were getting around $1.90 for a £, so it's better for you now. It has been quite steady lately, so although I'm no financial expert, I'm not sure you'll gain anything by waiting

It has really stabilised at around 1.70-1.75 for a while now. Not looking like it will drop much for you.

when I went 3 years ago you got $1.45 to the £, so I'm still very happy.
