Us reservation number

Ok, I now have a 12-digit number too. :rotfl: Disney replied to the email I sent the other day!

I'm just wondering, when I come to make my ADRs and I retrieve my reservation online, will the system automatically realise that I'm allowed to book for my first 10 days?

If you link the reservation to the dining system, then yes, it should. It worked for me last year :thumbsup2

I emailed Disney on the link on page 1, as I have also booked through Disney UK. Disney just emailed back to tell me I have to write to the London office to get my number!!! Is ij just me?!!!! I wouldn't have thought anything of it if I hadn't heard you all getting different responses!!!!

I sent them of an email and got a reply to call UK Disney direct...

I got this as well :(

Wonder why different people get different replies (and I literally copied and pasted Wayne's text) :confused3

:goodvibes

I think it all depends on who the cast member is who answers your email. I quite often get different answers from different cast members that totally confuses me to the point I wished I had never asked the question in the first place. Now I am totally confusing myself:rotfl2:

I phoned US dining reservations and they gave me the 12 digit number without question

I got my very quickly direct from disney uk. Do not take no for an answer!

Why are they messing so many people around?

Too many cooks ....!! There are too many different departments dealing with the Disney UK reservations and they seem to refuse to conform to one uniform system! The trouble is that Disney UK uses the US office for certain packages, Openride for others and Virgin Holidays takes on some of the work on their behalf (I have this in writing - response to a complaint, strangely enough, about INCONSISTENCY CAUSING CONFUSION!!!!)

So don't feel like there is something wrong with you if you're baffled/frustrated/confused - it doesn't just depend who you speak to, it depends who actually employs them!

Is the online booking still not working :confused3
When logged in on the dining pages, the only mention of reservations refers to telephone numbers?
Anyone point me in the right direction please :thumbsup2

It's been up and down for the last couple of days - there is no message to say it's not working either...anyway my advice is to just keep trying it.

ps - I've just checked and it's working now for me =)

Have you tried without the letters, just the 12 digits?

hi - yes - tried just using the 12 digits. Wondering if I selected the wrong option on the first page:

Begin Now

Please tell us how you booked your stay:

Directly with Walt Disney World
Through your Travel Agent
Through a group or convention
Using a Disney Vacation Club membership

I selected throuh a travel agent - is virgin holidays classed as a travel agent? which one should I select? thanks x

ok - well now the dining site is back up I did manage to link my reservation so at least I know that the 12 digit number I was given is right and I can make my ADRs so I won't worry about the other stuff x

Dining is the main thing, Online check in is not something you really need to do, I guess depending on time you arrive, we arrived about 9pm last August at OKW, no-one at checkin, 3 castmembers waiting for something to do.

Is it just me, or is the US website INSANELY SLOW this evening? And is anyone else suddenly having hassles where the US site opens up and then diverts you to the UK site? I know I've had a really long week so my tolerance could be a bit low ......

US Disney have been having issues fro about a week now, as for the re-direct to .co.uk thats been happening for about a year. Its how they want it.

I know - just that I have smugly been able to override the divert by using my bookmarks - and it suddenly isn't working. That said, I should probably have gone to bed a few hours ago! Thanks for the help - it's a good thread!
