We are going to Orlando in the first part of June and are only going to have one day to spend at Universal. If you have been before, which would a 5-year old boy like better...US or IOA? Why do you think way you do? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Donnie

Simple answer is both parks but USO has all the Nick charcters which he will love and MIB is a cool ride:cool:

IOA has Suessland....and cat in the hat and everything...and there are MArvel Super Heroes and villian meetings at IOA...and Character mettings at Toon Lagoon... JArassic Park has nice themeing... Peredon flyers is a kiddies ride...so is anything in Suessland....i think IOA is the way to go

Our first time at Universal. My kids (4 and 6) spent more time at IOA. The Suess Landing has some great rides for young kids. There is Toon Lagoon...I think Woody Woodpecker's coaster ride is there. I think there's more kiddie ride at IOA than at USF.

We were there with my 6 yr old nephew last year. I think he preferred US. There are all the Nick characters, Curious George area, Fievel's play area, ET, the Animal Planet show, Hanna Barbera (now Jimmy Nuetron). Woody's coaster is in US. And maybe the new Shrek attraction will be open by the time you get there. I would vote for US.
