thinking of US/IOA for first time this summer. big disney fans (6th trip) looking for only one day and didnt know which one to try. we like coasters and such but my wife gets a little sick on really bumpy coasters, but is fine on smooth ones like rocking roller coaster at mgm at disney. any tips/ suggestions appreciated.
thanks,

IOA handsdown! If you liked RnR just wait til you get a taste of the Dueling Dragons and Hulk.

Way awesome!

The "HULK" is a great rollercoaster, unfortunately we were unable to ride "DUELING DRAGONS" since it was down for refurbishing but it did look like a great coaster as well - can't wait to ride it next time :D

I agree on IOA. The Hulk and Dragons are VERY smooth coasters. Spiderman is the best ride ever. The theming throughout the park is fantastic. You'll love it.

We are also HUGE Disney fans and spend only one day of our vacations at Universal however a couple of years ago we came up with an idea that has worked well for us and might work out for you if you think you would ever return to Universal. We buy the 2 Day 2 Park pass which allows you basically "park hopping" privilages. The passes never expire exactly like Disney's program and using this method we are able to go to IOA every year and then do the few rides that we are interested in at Universal on the same day. Under this method we only have to but the tickets every couple of years and have really enjoyed the flexibility. If that's not an option I would agree with the others and say hands down IOA. It's a great park!

I'd recommend two days at USF/IOA. Once you go you'll be hooked and say, "What we're we missing?"
B&M coasters are the smoothest in the world, you'll like them.
Then you can visit Sea World (SWF) and ride Kraken, another smooth B&M.

Excuse me, but, what's B&M?

Hi Mrs Mud...love the name!

B&M is Bolliger & Mabillard a coaster manufacturer responsible for The Hulk and Dueling Dragons at IOA.

Thanks, Jessica (I see we're neighbors) ;)
