I've gotten complimentary (FREE!) 2park/1day tickets for the family and was wondering which park to start at. My 4&6 y/o's are huge NICK fans so I think we're planning to start at US.
*are these parks within walking distance of eachother?
*Would it be best to eat in Citywalk?, never been, can you tell?

Both parks are within walking distance of each other. With kids your age I would suggest starting at US. I think there's a little more for them to do there than IOA. Citywalk is the area the separates the two parks and they have tons of restaurants, NBA City, Hard Rock Cafe, Margaritaville, etc. We've never eaten there because we have three young DDs (7,5 and 2.5) and getting them to sit still for a sit-down meal is just too much to ask for at this point. Have fun. US/IOA is so much fun!!!!

Since you only have one day you might want to do counter service so you'll have more time in the parks. Make sure you bring a change of clothes for your kids and if it's warm wear or bring sandals that can get wet. There are several "wet" rides for all (depending on their height) and some water play areas for the kids. Bring a towel, too. How tall are your kids? Will it just be you with your kids or another adult?

You'll have a blast and want to return!

I agree with everything Tigger&Belle and tinaluis said! We usually end up eating at Mel's Drive In at US.

You'll have a blast no matter where you start!
