US Newbies going on a Sat. in August, Are we NUTS?

We're planning the first of 2 days at US to be on a Saturday in the middle of August. Are we NUTS for going on a weekend day? Are the crowds going to be out of control?

Our second day is probably going to be the following Tues or Wed, so we may be able to catch some things we miss the first day.

I'd love to hear the US experts opinions about this...

It may not be that bad... Orlando schools are in session by early August. But it is a Saturday.
We've been down in August and stayed from the begining of the month, 'till the middle of the month and you can see a huge difference in the crowds once schools back in session.

It will still be pretty busy in August especially on a weekend. If you don't want to purchase the Express Plus Passes, get there early and do what you can before the crowds arrive.
