Some delivery arriving a day prior to our check in

I ordered through Walmart and certain items are coming the day before we arrive. Do I need to call the resort to let them know or do they hold the items until we get there?

The items are suntan, band aids and mole skin

You should be okay, just make sure the package is marked with your name and check-in date. Some may recommend also listing your reservation number, but that's not necessary.

They *should* hold them as long as it is within a day or two of arrival. They will be able to find your name in the reservation system, just make sure whoever it is addressed to is on the reservation. They may charge you a package fee of $6, but maybe not. It sometimes depends on where it is delivered to.

They will hold items. We did grocery delivery also from Walmart to boardwalk on two separate trips and never an issue to hold. Definitely better than going to store through vacation
