US money order from Canada Post - how are the rates?

Hi there! I need to get a money order in US funds to pay for a DVC rental...is Canada Post the best? Are their rates good, or is a bnak money order better? Thanks!

It was 32.61 USD

Came to 45.47 CAD
with a 4.00 fee so,

41.47/32.61 = 1.27

The fee is less but the exchange is higher!

Ouch!
