US Map...

In Civics we have Memory Tests once a month. Sometimes it's a poem or part of the constitution or something. But this month it's to memorize the US Map. We have to do this by Feb 2. I've known about it for a while, but to be honest I am a procrastinator.

Does anyone have any good ideas to help me memorize the map?

Is it like remembering where the states are?
Do that grade three test like 308250932859083209583902850948306984 times. It seriously does work. I started out by knowing where like three states were, and I know them all now. And I don't even live there.

I always remember the Chef States. That Minnesota is the hat, and Lousiana the feet. Iowa is the head. Arkansaw is the legs, while missouri is teh upper body. And the Chef is carring a plate of "kentucky" Fried chicken on top of Tennesee.

Maybe that helps? Idk I remember all that from memory.

We had to sing a state song to that tune in 5th grade for chorus...and we had to do a presidents one. I still remember them :\

Try memorizing them in sets of three or four. Start with Maine, and work your way down.

This is how i learned all of Europe in 5th grade, and I still can do it.
