Ok, so we (dh35 me28 ds5 ds3 ds1 plus my parents) will be going to disney in nov...we have one day planned to visit either SW or US/IoA...with this age group i'm guessing that SW would be the obvious pick as they can't ride rides or enjoy shows at US/IoA...but my boys LOVE LOVE LOVE the characters that will be at IoA...they are huge Spiderman fans, plus Dr. Seuss stuff, and they'd love the character breakfast, plus my parents really really want to go to US.

i'm just nervous to do US/IoA as us adults will want to ride the rides, but the kiddos won't have as much to do and i don't think we can fit it ALL in one day.

i KNOW they'll love SW, but i'm not sure my parents will be as excited...they are the ones paying for the trip. they told me to get whichever, but i know they'd rather be at US.

what would you suggest? if we did do the 1day/1park pass is IoA the way to go vs US?

I would suggest IOA since the kids would like it more. If your kids like the characters and the rides in Seuss Landing, that would be the thing to do. Sea World is nice and has many shows but maybe the kids would want to do less shows. IOA has baby swap in case some of the adults want to ride something so that's not a big deal.

I would stick with IOA!

::yes:: ::yes:: Metro has the answer again!!

Which reminds me, I'll be heading over to SW after the Manta coaster opens :)

Definitely got to agree with Metro, IOA sounds the way to go, and if you had any time leftover, you could run to US and do a ride or two like Shrek.

i'm not exactly sure how tall my 5yo shorty is, but i definitely know he's 40" or more...i guess i'll have to see how many rides he CAN do. while i do love seaworld, i just don't want to be bored out of my mind if they won't sit still during the shows (they are pretty active kids) and i end up getting stuck watching them run around the play area (for $70-something) i can have them do that at home, ya know!
