Hi all
okay now trying hard not to countdown to 5th Aug but please tell me about express passes at US/IOA. i know about bog standard express tickets and how to get them but have now seen something about Express Pass Plus book of tickets which somewhere says $15 per person but goes up to $25 in peak seasons.

Questions : what is classed as peak season?
where do you get the book of tickets from once inside the park?
We've already got our 3day/2pk tickets plus 11 days free.
hope u can help i know someone will!!!!!!

thanks maxine for the link. however i only want info on where to get tickets in the parks rather than pre buy. the crowds may not require us to need these tickets and we would then only use the bog standard express cards. having been 2x in august before we have only ever queued for spiderman - the other rides just walking on within 20mins or straight on like MIB.

so i assume august would be peak time so the tickets will be $25 per person then?
and do you buy them from machines next to the express rides or go to guest services on the way in?(therefore not knowing what the crowds would be like?)

anyone?

kate with thanx!

you didn't have lines at universal/IoA???????????????????wow...you were really lucky.....the lines were more than an hour long when we were there (i think 3 years ago)....

this year we're staying at an onsite resort just to get the express pass.....(when you stay there one night, you get two days of express pass - the day you check in and the day you check out)...

oh..by the way, we were there in july.....and the place was a ZOO....
perhaps you were there in mid-august....florida schools are in session from the second week of august, so that decreases the crowd size....

...yep! went second wk of august in 1998 +2001 and found some rides we just walked on like Jurassic ride at IOA there was no queue so we did the ride about six times in a row!! wet through or what!!!! other parks only had wait times of 20mins at the most. Splash Mt was about 1 hour but we used bog-standard express or fastpass for other rides. in fact at US the MIB ride we got an express ticket which had the immediate time on it and we walked straight in passed the poor souls who were queueing normally.!!!!
luck of what! keeping our fingers crossed for this year- flying out on 5th august for 2wks.

We have just come back from Orlando and bought and Express Pass for Island of Adventure. It cost $35 and let you ride each ride once only as Fastpass. It was only available for the day of purchase and only for Island of adventure - we would have to purchase another one for Universl Studios! It was worth it to us as we got on all the rides - some of the queues were over 45 minutes. For normal Fastpass - we were given times at least 2 hours in the future and most had run out by midday. Revenge of the Mummy had gone before 11am. I went as a single rider and still waited 40 minutes
