US/IOA discount tickets at Costco?

I'm hoping maybe someone might have some insight on this. Costco sells Universal Studios tickets for 89.99 for a 3 month pass. They have had these for years. We have bought them there before. Well, we are going in a month. Went to Costco today and they don't have them . We were there 3 weeks ago and they had them. No one at the store could tell me if they would be back or why they didn't have them. Does anyone know if they have stopped selling them?

Our Costco does not have them anymore either, and they haven't for several weeks. Have you checked to see if they might have them online?

I never thought to check costco, but I will look for them at ours next week.

As soon as I heard about the price increase, I called my local Costco and was planning on running over there to pickup some passes for future trips. They said that Universal started limiting these passes a while back and then they suddenly pulled them altogether (after Christmas). She said they didn't know why, but they were no longer able to sell them. I told her why - the new price increase.

I've been to the store several times since, and everyone I've talked to has said the same thing. I highly doubt you'll find them at Costco anymore.

Eventually, they will have to produce some type of discounts tickets. It's unfortunate for folk going right now. We were planning to visit at Christmas! I will keep my ears open for anything and let you know if I hear!!

Fortunately I got this year's tickets from AAA for $99, but if I had to pay the current price for my family of five I would not blink. A few hundred bucks isn't going to change my vacation plans, and I'm not rich by any means.
