We are debating adding a night at US/IOA to our November trip...we are only there for 5 nights total, so if we do Universal, it will just be for 1 day. The best day would be Black Friday...do you think it will be insane? If yes, which day would you go between 11/23-11/26?
Thanks!

We go the week of Thanksgiving because DH is a teacher and our other option is the summer, which I will never do again. We honestly didn't find it to be super busy crowded except for in Hogsmeade at all times :) We are going back this Thanksgiving for our 2nd time. If I had to pick any of those days, I would do Sunday the 25th becuase I would guess most people would be traveling home by this point.

I am not sure it would be any more crowded than Disney during that week of Thanksgiving. I consider Christmas crowds insane, not Thanksgiving crowds. But there will be crowds. What I would be concerned with is, all the traffic around because of that day. And I agree with the above poster, Sunday would be a better day, as most come and go on a Saturday.

If you do go, get there before opening, ensure enough time to get from the parking garage, through security and CityWalk. If you're not driving, I'd ask to be dropped off at the Hard Rock. Then I would walk or ride the boat, as security at the end of the walkway and boat will not be as long as the lines from the parking garage.

We’ve been there the week of Thanksgiving the past 2 years. It is busy on Friday, but not crazy. It really helps to have EP though.
