I go to the parks as often as I can before school and I am not enthusiastic about it at all. School is a waste of time (just kidding). It just takes to much out of your day. I want to do good in life, but when it interfers with Universal, what kind of monsters are they lol.

lol!! I'm definately not excited about started school either. I'm completely dreading it. Less trips to Universal. :( I'm hoping to be able to go for a few days for my birthday, but not sure if I can.

So southern Florida, huh? cool. I'm about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Orlando, so that's how we can go pretty often. If it was closer, we'd go even more.

I live 3 1/2 hours away and go every weekend. Except when we go back to school.

Julie-

Dragons is a spectacular, steel, two sided roller coaster. Three near misses-Inverted (your feet dangle)-Ice Dragon is the milder of the two, Fire is a tad more intense.

Hope that answers your question.

Yeah, that helps a lot. I don't think I will be going on that!
The kids probably will though.
I assume this is a fast pass attraction?

You're not gonna wimp out are you?! lol ;)

Yes, it has an Express pass for it, however, usually it is not neccessary because the line is almost always short. :)

Hope you have fun, and dogg and I worked things out now :p

Yeah sure did work things out. It didn't have to come to this if we didn't take things the wrong way. Oops. That is how rumors get out of proportion. Eh I am over it. I do disagree with you on dueling dragons. It is a very long line.....to get there lol. No the wait is not bad at all, don't waste a good express ticket on it.

I was about to go "Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!" lol!!!

He's right in saying not to bother with an express ticket. And the queue line is long - length wise. Not time wise :) It's cool looking though!!

I knew you were about to go ahhhhhh! I just had to take advantage of this one because what I said is actually true, the queue line is long. At first I was so pissed off with that because it was the end of the day and all I wanted was an escalator, but it is such a neat atmosphere that really puts you in the mood. You have such a different feel of the ride after going through the castle.

Meanie :p

lol! I didn't realize how long the queue was when I first went on it either...and when I went, my aunt had taken me and the park was brand new...needless to say there ACTUALLY WAS A LINE
The queue is much more miserable when you have to stand in it for a long time...of course it was funny when various people tried to scare each other, including some German guys that didn't seem to speak any English...

oh my God that would suck. First off all standing in that line. Plus never knowing where the end is. That must be just so miserable. I am impatient so I couldn't take that. Oh and another thing, is there a reason why it takes ******* long to go through the parking toll at the front of the park. Just give them the money, they give you the ticket, and get the ball rolling.

Yeah...it was terrible. And the whole time my aunt was telling us rollercoaster accident stories

Oh sorry. That was probably us..when our power window gets stuck...lol j/k. I have NO clue why it takes so long. Seems simple enough...

You want to talk about miserable though...we got preferred parking for a change (which turned out to be a waste of money) and a church van cut us off. The guy directing the preferred parking used his walkie-talkie to call security since the van wasn't supposed to go over there.

Well, we were directly behind this van and were going up a steep ramp and when the church van turned to pull into the parking garage it realized there wasn't enough clearance!!!!!! There were at least 15 cars behind us on the ramp and we all had to back up until we were near a side street to turn onto so the stupid van could get off the ramp and to where it was supposed to be. Let's just say, after that, many cars got a better parking space than we did...and we arrived at the park at least 20 minutes late when we would have been there early.

That was definately a "different" experience, let me tell you! :p

Yeah your right that most definetely sucks. Man why can't people get there acts together.

A great deal of passion on these message boards- and the good thing is clearly everyone wants to be sure that they can share valuable information to maximize a perfect stay in both parks.

We are doing the VIP tour 2 parks - 1day- to do just that - see as much as possible in the time frame we have.

I have always wanted to do the VIP tour in Hollywood (we live in South. Calif.)- and as we have over the years taken the traditional backlot tour on the tram- I have always envied those people who get to "walk"around the actual sets of BTTF and the Psycho House.
Having never been to the Orlando version of US and am completely unfamiliar w/IOA (outside of the websites)- I'm kind of excited to get a VIP tour.

I am going w/my 12 year daughter and she thinks our whole trip is DW and cruise trip. This day is going to be unique and a surprise for both of us.

Thanks again for all of your comments- and I am sure everyone takes them as they are being sent- with deep hearted concern that no one on this site misses out on the best possible experience.
