US Friends - When is Spring Break?

Hi

I'm hoping to visit DL next April and would like to know when Spring Break is going to fall in California for 2004. Would like to avoid that time if possible.

Hoping to drive from Las Vagas, could anyone tell me how long that would take approximately?

Grateful for any feedback.

Spring breaks run at many different times out here but generally go from early March to late April. The busiest times are the week before and the week of Easter, but it will be busy all spring as we have MANY schools here and they all have different schedules.

The drive to Vegas should take around 4 1/2 hours without traffic. It's really MUCH easier to fly if you can, it's only about a 50-minute flight and there are all sorts of cheap airfares.

I believe Easter is in Early April next year. So plan your trip during the second half of April and you should be okay, in avoiding crowds.

Hi Sue88UK-
We live about 20 miles south of DL and my DD16's school is out for spring break the week before Easter, April 5-9, 2004. But, as a previous poster said, Southern Ca schools schedule their spring breaks equally the week before and after Easter. That said, I would avoid those two weeks but as a rule of thumb, March can be busy as well, so I would try for late April if you can. It will be warmer, too Good luck deciding and have fun!
