I have just picked up my currency today and the notes are different from when we last went to the US (2 1/2 years ago)

Previously they were all the same colour, now they seem to be more colourful and different denominations are different colours.

Can someone put my mind at rest and confirm these are the real thing

when we went in March last year they were just changing and the bureau change women gave us a leaflet and showed us the new notes - they were changing over slowly - it didn't look real then lol
Like Monopoly money ha ha
I love the smell of American dollars - now that makes me sound weird sorry
