US Concert Series Question 6/1/13 - Ne-Yo

We will be down this weekend and it just so happens the summer concert series is starting. We have an AP, so we can go to this on Saturday

However, we may skip this if the entire area will be crowded. For example, we read that the Pitbull concert was so crowded that people had to stand down by Mel's Diner. This does not sound like a good time to me.

If it is as crowded as a typical Christmas - grinch manheim concert then this will be fun to stop by at 7pm and hang out for 2 hrs.

Can someone please let me know how crowded these summer concerts get? This will be after memorial day, and most schools are still in session - so I don't expect the park to be super crowded, but I don't know if a lot of local people show up and buy tickets to these concerts.

Ne-Yo and Adam Lambert will bring lots of fans which means crazy crowds...maybe not quite as bad as Pitbull but nearly. If you are trying to avoid crowds, skip the concert.

This is our arrival day. I anticipate checking in to our condo at 3 pm. I have no interest in this concert.. I hate the one song of his I know... but I also have teens. How early should they plan to arrive if they decide to attend? My first thought is to drop them off and while DH go grocery shopping and get settled in our condo.
