US and IOA what are the best and worst attractions?

Oh!!! I forgot Terminator. That is another must do in Universal.

Personally, I would not eat a sit down lunch because of time constraints. I would eat at either the Boulangerie (in Universal) or Croissant Moon(in IOA). They have really good sandwiches and salads.

Also, if the weather is on the cool side, I would skip the water rides.

that is a quick ride and if there is no line, it is fun.

i put that on my must do list.

I agree it is a blast, and quick once you are on it--but I don't think I have EVER gone on it without a line. And maybe it's me, but it seems like the one ride at Universal where the line ends up longer than the posted time. "Must do" if you have two days (heck, if you have two days in October, everything in IOA is must do), but I'd skip it with only one.

BTW, I would also recommend JP Discovery Center, at least for the son into dinosaurs, except (i) you can end up spending a lot of time there, and (ii) it may be closed for HHN.

You mentioned lunch at NBA or HRC, How much time do you think lunch would take at each place? As much as I love a table service resturants I don't want to use up a lot a valuable time eating. What do you think?

I would recommend counter service for lunch, then save NBA or HRC for a nice, leisurly dinner (after all the walking you'll be doing you'll need it ). As mentioned, with the parks closing early for HHN you can probably eat at 6:30 or 7:00, and you're right at CityWalk anyway at the end of the day. Between getting seated, and waiting for your order, and waiting for your bill, you'll save yourself at least 30 to 45 minutes of "ride time."

Personal opinion, HRC has the better atmosphere, NBA has the better food.
