Has anyone flown with US airways and then got Magical express. I'm a bit confused do we get yellow tags in Uk for ME or do we pick up suitcase and take ourselves. I have usually flown Virgin and driven so not sure the proximity of landing to US Airways picking up bags and then finding ME.
Thanks

i don't know if you'll get ME tags or not.

DD did get tags a few years ago when she used ME.

but even though she got tags, she didn't use them and instead picked up her suitcase and took it to ME herself. She wanted to be sure she had her suitcase with her when she got to the hotel.

ME is very easy to find.
US Airways is in terminal B, so your baggage claim will be baggage claim B.
you pick up your luggage and take it over to ME which is also located on the B side on level 1.

however, if you prefer, you can tag your bags and have them picked up by ME.
i prefer to pick up my own bags.

Disney don't send yellow tags to international guests anymore, even if you arrive on a domestic flight.
You can either take your bags on the bus (probably the easiest thing provided you haven't got loads to carry) or, I think, you can give them your luggage tags when you check in for the DME and they will collect your luggage for you. It can take a few hours to be delivered.

Thanks Beth
As I'm going solo I was a little nervous but that sounds easy enough to find so I'll take my bags with me:goodvibes

When we flew with Aerlingus we arrived as what would be a domestic flight and I think it was classed as a US airways flight number. We landed on the B side and we did not have to do the whole collect bags and then put them onto the second belt thing. We just went to the baggage claim area and collected our bags from there. ME is on level one B side its honestly really simple to find take a left out the lift on level one and keep walking and ME is at the end.

For us personally I would rather have my bag with me. We like to get to the room and unpack and not wait for what can be around 3 or more hours for the bags.

it's because you flew indirect, and as you said, your flight was considered "domestic" (you either cleared customs/immigration in the UK/Ireland or at an US point of entry.

For those who fly direct, they need to collect their bags at baggage claim, then they can either keep them to ride the AGT (automated train) or put them back on the belt to collect them again at the main terminal.

doesn't change much for DME. International visitors must collect their bags at baggage claim and head to the ME desk to have their bags checked with DME
