US 1 to Port Canaveral???

The family we are traveling with says its quicker to take US1 to the port (from Daytona) , instead of 95. Anyone ever go that way? Thanks!

It may look quicker going on US1 but you will come across a lot of traffic lights and it will actually take longer. Personally I would stick to 95.

We live in Port Orange and always take US1 to the port. There are lights but there are also stores to stop at for last minute things, (lottery, soda, etc.) Its more exciting to see water on the way instead of highway!!

No contest. I-95. If you decide you need to stop, there's a grocery store and a Target on the way from I-95 to the port.
