Urghhhhh!!!

Well, I did not get the job that I interviewed for last week. I called to follow-up and she said that it had been offered and accepted by someone. They could have least called me!!!
It was with the Texas Workforce Center and I feel like going down there and remind them it is their job to HELP me find a job and they need to start earning their pay. I have not ONCE received a cardx in the mail with a possible job opening. I have been looking at all the sites they have told me about almost every single day.

On the other hand, I can substitute in the school district and get my foot in the door for next year. But, that means staying here with Jim until something comes up!! He has said he knows I cannot move out on a sub's pay and that it is not a steady income.

BUT, URGHHHHHHHH. Of course the position I was not hired for paid about $6K less than what I will make as a teacher. However, it would have been something!


Sorrym had to vent. The job market stinks.

Can you try something like Kelly Temp Services in the meantime? That sometimes leads to a full time job.

Pop Daddy- Yes, I feel that I have no job skills that can benefit anyone at this moment. even though I have a teaching degre)
